The recent Bihar elections created strong discussions in Seemanchal, where Owaisi led AIMIM to victory. The party surprised many by winning five seats. Local MLA Tausif Alam said that Owaisi led AIMIM to victory because voters trusted Owaisi’s leadership and name. He explained that people supported AIMIM due to Owaisi’s clear stand on community issues.
Tausif Alam thanked the people of Bahadurganj for their support. He said he will work hard to repay the trust they placed in him. He also added that he respects the party’s state president, but the credit for the party’s success belongs to Asaduddin Owaisi.
AIMIM candidates won from Jokihat, Bahadurganj, Kochadhaman, Amr, and Baisi. The party also came very close to winning in Kishanganj and Balrampur. In seats like Pranpur, Araria, Kasba, and Keoti, AIMIM finished third, but the votes it gained were higher than the margin between the winner and the runner-up.
This performance shows AIMIM’s growing influence in Seemanchal. Many voters believed that the party gave them a strong voice. Leaders say they will continue to build their organisation and focus on local development issues across Bihar.
