Panchayat Samiti election results have brought encouraging news for the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in Majitha constituency, where the party has secured victories from multiple zones. The wins have infused fresh enthusiasm among party workers and supporters, who celebrated the results with enthusiasm and congratulated the victorious candidates.
Following the announcement of results, elected Panchayat Samiti members from SAD credited their success to the strong grassroots connect and popularity of senior Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia. They claimed that public support for the Akali Dal remains intact despite political challenges. According to the winning candidates, if Majithia had actively campaigned without restrictions, the election outcome in Majitha would have been overwhelmingly in favour of the Akali Dal, with the party securing a majority of seats.
The leaders further stated that people continue to trust the Akali Dal’s policies and the development work carried out during its previous tenures. They described the Panchayat Samiti results as a clear indication of growing public dissatisfaction with rival parties and a gradual return of confidence in SAD’s leadership.
Looking ahead, the victorious members expressed strong confidence that the party will perform even better in the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. They asserted that the people of Punjab are prepared to give the Akali Dal another opportunity to govern the state and restore what they called effective and experienced leadership.
