Panjab University, Chandigarh, has opened admissions for its IAS 2026 crash course, offering focused preparation for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. The programme is run by the university’s Centre for IAS and Other Competitive Examinations and targets aspirants aiming to strengthen their prelims strategy in a short time.
According to Honorary Director Prof. Jyoti Rattan, admissions to the IAS Preliminary Batch 2026 will be based on an entrance test scheduled for December 19. Candidates can submit applications until December 15, up to 5 pm. Classes will begin on January 5, 2026, and the crash course will run for nearly four months.
The course fee is set at ₹26,000 plus 18 percent GST for general category candidates, while SC and ST candidates will pay ₹13,000 plus GST. The programme covers the entire UPSC preliminary syllabus and features experienced faculty members from Panjab University and other reputed institutions.
A major attraction is the series of special lectures by serving and former civil servants, senior bureaucrats, and state service officers. Regular tests, group discussions, and performance reviews will help aspirants track progress and improve weak areas. The Centre also offers a well-stocked library for dedicated study support.
