Actor and former MP Paresh Rawal praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s work ethic in a recent interview. Rawal, who represented Ahmedabad East for the BJP in 2014, compared the party’s style with that of the Congress. He said earlier, politicians were perceived to lead easy lives, but in Modi’s era, everyone works hard.
He expressed admiration for Modi’s discipline, saying elected representatives must report to the public annually. “Modi contacts you within days to follow up on tasks,” Rawal added. Rawal said the Prime Minister continues to work tirelessly even at 75. He described his political experience as fully positive and inspiring.
On the professional front, Paresh Rawal will appear in the upcoming drama The Taj Story, alongside Zakir Hussain, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sneha Wagh, and Namit Das. Directed and written by Tushar Amrish Goel, The Taj Story explores the provocative question, “Even after 79 years of Independence, are we still slaves of intellectual terrorism?” The film is scheduled to release on October 31 and is billed as a hard-hitting social drama.
