The Patna High Court has ordered the Congress Party to immediately remove AI-generated videos featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother. The videos were shared on social media and sparked outrage.
The court’s decision came after a case was filed against the videos. The court said these videos could cause political tension, especially with elections approaching in Bihar. The Congress Party was accused of disrespecting the Prime Minister’s family by sharing these videos.
These AI videos showed Modi’s mother in a negative light and were widely circulated on social media platforms. The BJP criticized the Congress for posting the videos, accusing them of trying to damage Modi’s reputation.
After the court’s ruling, the Congress must remove all such videos. This issue has caused strong reactions from various political leaders in Bihar, with many calling for more responsible use of social media during elections.
JDU leader Nitish Kumar also spoke out, condemning the videos. He urged that such content be taken down immediately to avoid further political conflict.
