Patna Schools Holiday on November 14 for Vote Counting

Traffic restrictions in Patna during Patna schools holiday on November 14

Patna will see a Patna schools holiday on November 14 because the vote counting for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections will take place on that day. The district administration announced the holiday to manage traffic and keep the city safe. This Patna schools holiday on November 14 helps reduce crowding near AN College, which is the main counting center.

Moreover, Patna Traffic Police issued a detailed advisory to guide the public. Several main roads, including long stretches of Boring Road, Sahdev Mahato Marg, and Pani Tanki Mor, will stay closed. Therefore, motorists must choose different routes. Commercial vehicles will also face restrictions from Rajapur Bridge to Bailey Road. In addition, general vehicles cannot enter the area from Shivpuri Railway Crossing to AN College.

Vehicles of agents and candidates must stop at fixed points like Tapasya Mor or Pani Tanki Mor. After that, they will walk to the counting center. Media vans will park near AN College on the roadside.

Furthermore, security has been increased across the city. Over 500 police personnel, along with senior officers, will monitor all key locations. Their goal is to ensure a smooth and safe counting process for everyone.
