The Bihar government has announced that pension will continue even if life certification not done by beneficiaries. This decision brings major relief to elderly, widowed, and disabled people who depend on monthly social security pensions.
Many pensioners were worried that missing the annual life certificate process could stop their payments. The state government has now clarified that no pension will be discontinued for this reason. Payments will reach beneficiaries on time through direct bank transfers.
To make the process easier, the government will organise special verification camps at block and panchayat levels. Officials will help pensioners complete life certification without the need to visit Common Service Centres repeatedly.

The scheme covers old-age pension, widow pension, and disability pension beneficiaries across Bihar. The state currently provides ₹1,100 per month under social security pension schemes.
