A shocking case has emerged from Bihar where petrol poured into private part of man allegations have raised serious questions about police conduct in Samastipur. The victim, identified as Manish from Bherokhara village, claims police tortured him inside the Tajpur police station after he was detained in connection with a theft case.
According to Manish, police kept him in custody for several days and beat him repeatedly. He alleges officers used a needle to stab parts of his body. He also claims that petrol poured into private part of man during the torture, causing severe pain and injury.
Manish worked at a jewellery shop in Tajpur market. After a theft at the shop, the owner reportedly tied him up and beat him before handing him over to the police. His condition worsened in custody, and his family rushed him to Tajpur hospital. Doctors later referred him to Samastipur Sadar Hospital.
The victim’s father, Sanjay Poddar, has demanded strict action against the accused officers. He also alleged threats to the family. However, the station in-charge denied all claims.
After a video related to the incident surfaced on social media, the Samastipur SP ordered a departmental probe. A senior police officer is now leading the investigation.
