PM Modi stressed that the Northeast is central to his government’s “Viksit Bharat” vision. He explained that Mizoram’s location makes it vital for trade with Southeast Asia. Therefore, these projects will open doors for business, agriculture, and tourism, while also creating opportunities for young people.
Local leaders praised the announcement, calling it a turning point for the state. Meanwhile, citizens expressed hope that better roads, reliable healthcare, and new jobs will improve their daily lives. Several students said the planned educational facilities would finally provide them with more career options.
The Prime Minister added that his government is committed to balanced growth across India. Furthermore, he assured that no region, especially the Northeast, will be left behind.
