PM Modi Says Tamil Nadu Will Get ‘Double-Engine NDA Government’ After 2026 Polls
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Tamil Nadu will have a “double-engine NDA government” after the 2026 Assembly elections. He made the statement while addressing an NDA rally in Chennai. The Prime Minister said that if the same party rules both the Centre and the State, development will be faster and more effective.
He criticised the ruling DMK government, accusing it of corruption and poor governance. Modi said the people of Tamil Nadu are looking for change and better administration.
Meanwhile, AMMK general secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran said his party has joined the NDA alliance wholeheartedly. He made it clear that the AMMK joined the alliance willingly and not under any pressure or coercion. Dhinakaran said the main goal of the alliance is to remove the DMK from power and provide good governance to the State.
