Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the undivided Kurnool district today, prompting authorities to declare a holiday for schools in Kurnool and Nandyal districts. The decision was taken to ensure smooth security and traffic management during the Prime Minister’s visit.
According to the itinerary, Modi will arrive in Kurnool at 9:55 AM, from where he will travel by helicopter to Srisailam to offer prayers at the temple and visit the Shivaji Inspiration Center. In view of his visit, vehicular movement in Srisailam has been restricted from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
After completing his temple visit, the Prime Minister will return to Kurnool around 2:20 PM to address a public meeting focused on GST-related initiatives and development programs.
