Police Recover Lost Bag in a heartwarming incident from Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh, where police showed sensitivity and swift action. In Shujalpur, officers helped a Class 3 schoolgirl who lost her school bag while returning home from coaching.
The child travelled home in an auto-rickshaw. After reaching home, she realised her bag was missing. The bag contained homework notebooks, fair copies, and study material from the entire academic year. Distressed and in tears, the young girl approached the local police station for help.
Seeing her condition, police immediately treated the case as a priority. Officers began checking CCTV cameras from the coaching centre to the child’s home. The team carefully reviewed hours of footage to trace the route taken by the auto-rickshaw. After sustained efforts, police identified the vehicle and recovered the school bag.
Police officials then called the student to the SDOP office and handed over the bag. The child expressed happiness and thanked the officers for their help. She said the bag held important notebooks, and losing it had worried her deeply.
SDOP Nimish Deshmukh said the team acted quickly after seeing the child’s distress. Police personnel even helped her carry the bag and ensured she returned home safely.
The incident highlighted the humane and caring side of the police force.
