Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has emphasized that port development is a key driver for Andhra Pradesh’s economic growth and industrial expansion. Speaking in Vijayawada, he highlighted that enhancing port infrastructure will not only facilitate trade and logistics but also attract investments, generate employment, and boost ancillary industries across the State.
The government plans to modernize existing ports and develop new ones, ensuring better connectivity with industrial corridors, highways, and rail networks. Jagan stressed that strategic port development will strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s position as a major trade and export hub in India, fostering balanced regional development.
