Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), Southern Region-I, is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from October 28 to November 2. The theme for this year’s campaign is “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”
To mark the occasion, POWERGRID organised a Cyclothon at Necklace Road, Hyderabad, to promote ethical conduct and collective responsibility in building a corruption-free society. The event drew enthusiastic participation from employees and officials.
Executive Director (Southern Region-I) Doman Yadav flagged off the Cyclothon and highlighted the importance of integrity and teamwork. “Integrity is everyone’s duty. Like cycling, life requires balance, discipline, and unity,” he said. His words inspired participants to uphold honesty and fairness at every level of work.
More than 100 employees from the Regional Headquarters in Secunderabad and the Hyderabad Substation took part. Senior officials, including Venkata SV, Chief GM (F&A), Praveenkumar TVS, Chief GM (AM), and PC Reddy, GM (Vigilance), were also present to support the initiative.
