Prashant Kishor Attacks BJP over Candidate ‘Looting’

Bihar politics Prashant Kishor BJP attack

Prashant Kishor, founder of Jan Suraj Party, launched a strong attack on Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his campaign in West Champaran, Bihar. He said earlier, booths were looted in Bihar, but now BJP has started looting candidates. He claimed 3–4 Jan Suraj candidates were pressured or taken away, though one was later returned “with interest.” Kishor added that people of Bihar will soon settle political accounts.

He accused Amit Shah and BJP leaders of threatening Jan Suraj candidates from Danapur, Gopalganj, and Brahmapur to withdraw nominations. Kishor also alleged that Jan Suraj candidate Akhilesh Kumar was stopped from filing his nomination under pressure.

Kishor said Gujaratis in Delhi are deciding Bihar’s future, turning the state into a “labor factory.” He mocked PM Modi’s unfulfilled promise of 12,000 trains for Bihar, saying youth still travel on stairs and toilets. Jan Suraj, he said, aims to end this “political bonded labor.”
