Prashant Kishor has questioned the sudden rise in assets of the Vaibhav Vikas Trust. He said that earlier the trust could not even buy land worth ₹10 crore. But within a year, it purchased property worth nearly ₹100 crore. Kishor asked how this money came in such a short time.
He pointed to the marriage of Sayan Kunal, son of Anita Kunal, with Shambhavi Chaudhary, daughter of Minister Ashok Chaudhary. Kishor claimed that the property deals happened during this period. He demanded answers from trust officials, including Jiya Lal Arya, Anita Kunal, and the mother-in-law of Bihar’s Chief Secretary.
Kishor said Arya is known as an honest man but must still release the trust’s accounts. He added that hiding information will not work. Like him, Arya should also share income and expenditure details with the public.
Jan Suraj has given seven days for the trust to respond. Kishor also accused Ashok Chaudhary of owning benami property worth ₹500 crore. If no reply comes, he promised to disclose more details.
