Prashant Kishor to Contest, Jan Suraj Eyes 28% Votes

Bihar Elections Prashant Kishor speaks on Jan Suraj and Nitish Kumar

Bihar Elections Prashant Kishor said he will contest in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Speaking in Patna, he announced that Jan Suraj will release its list of candidates on October 9. He added that his own name will appear on that list.

The Bihar elections will take place in two phases—on November 6 and 11. Counting of votes will happen on November 14. Kishor did not reveal the seat he will contest from but promised a big surprise for voters.

Kishor said Jan Suraj aims to win 28% of the total votes. These votes, he explained, will come from people who did not support either the NDA or the Grand Alliance in the last election. He believes this number will change Bihar’s politics.

Prashant Kishor also commented on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said this will be Nitish Kumar’s last election and that he will not remain Chief Minister after the polls.
