Meanwhile, Prashant Kishor convoy stopped in Purnia on Monday created political buzz. Kishor, the leader of Jan Suraj Party, was campaigning when police suddenly halted his convoy and searched the vehicles. The police action surprised many and caused a stir among supporters.

According to reports, the Bihar Police conducted the search as part of security checks before the two-phase elections scheduled for November 6 and 11. After the inspection, the convoy resumed its journey. Prashant Kishor convoy stopped in Purnia drew attention because of its timing during an intense campaign period.

Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party is contesting all 243 Bihar Assembly seats. He has accused BJP of pressuring his party candidates to withdraw nominations. However, Kishor himself is not contesting, saying that his entry might distract from the party’s collective focus. He also claimed that the NDA’s main challenge this time is not from the Grand Alliance but from Jan Suraj.
