Vedanta Resources Chairman Anil Agarwal highlighted Rajasthan’s growing potential during the Pravasi Rajasthani Divas. Agarwal stated that Rajasthan will provide all kinds of minerals to the country and the world, using sustainable mining practices. He emphasized that wealth comes from below the earth, including gold, silver, oil, and copper, and noted that previous silver imports will now be produced locally in Rajasthan.
Agarwal praised the state’s development, saying Rajasthan has become a preferred destination for conventions, weddings, and global business events. He urged investors to build large hotels and convention centers to meet rising demand. Highlighting Vedanta’s initiatives, Agarwal announced the country’s largest urea production plant will come up in Rajasthan.
He also stressed environmental responsibility, promising that mining operations will follow strict ecological guidelines, ensuring Rajasthan’s prosperity benefits both the state and the world.
