Progressive in aim but lacking quick relief, say Hyderabad residents

People in Hyderabad have given mixed reactions to the Union Budget. Many said the Budget has a progressive vision and focuses on long-term economic growth. They welcomed higher spending on infrastructure, fiscal discipline, and efforts to strengthen the economy over time. Some felt these steps would help create jobs and improve development in the future.

However, several salaried taxpayers expressed disappointment over the lack of immediate relief. They pointed out that there were no changes in income tax slabs or the standard deduction. Many said this was a missed opportunity to reduce the financial burden on middle-class families, especially at a time of rising living costs.

Working professionals said they were hoping for some tax relief to increase savings and spending power. While they agreed with the long-term goals of the Budget, they felt it did not address their short-term concerns.

Overall, Hyderabad residents said the Budget is forward-looking but falls short in providing quick relief to salaried individuals.
