Puducherry Election Results LIVE updates show Chief Minister N Rangasamy taking a strong lead in the Thattanchavady constituency. Early counting trends indicate he is ahead by more than 3,500 votes.
According to the Election Commission data, Rangasamy, who heads the All India N.R. Congress (AINRC), secured a lead of 3,591 votes in Thattanchavady. He is contesting from two constituencies in the Union Territory.
Several AINRC candidates also gained early leads in multiple constituencies. R Ravikumar led in Villianur, Vaiyapuri Manikandan moved ahead in Muthialpet, and C Aiyappan took the lead in Ariankuppam.
E Mohandoss led in Enbalam, P Rajavelu was ahead in Nettapakkam, and P R N Thirumurugan led in Karaikal North.
Meanwhile, BJP candidates A Namassivayam and TK SM Meenatchisundaram were leading in Mannadipet and Neravy TR Pattinam.
