The Punjab Cabinet has approved another OTS scheme for 20,039 traders who defaulted on payments under pre-GST laws. This move is expected to provide relief to traders and help settle long-pending disputes.
Along with this, the Cabinet also gave sanction for the prosecution of former minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot. He has been accused of embezzlement during the Congress government between 2017 and 2022.
These decisions highlight the state’s focus on clearing financial dues and ensuring accountability in corruption cases.
