Pargat Singh, MLA and secretary of the All India Congress Committee, has strongly questioned the AAP government’s tall claims of an education revolution in Punjab. He pointed out that the infrastructure in government colleges and universities is collapsing and warned that this negligence could lead to a major tragedy.
Singh said the situation exposes the gap between promises and ground reality. He stressed that the so-called education revolution in Punjab is just a slogan, as students and teachers continue to suffer due to poor facilities.
The Congress leader also issued a stern warning to the government. If any tragedy occurs because of weak buildings or unsafe campuses, he said, the responsibility will lie directly with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his administration.
His statement has sparked fresh debate on the quality of education and the urgent need for real reforms in Punjab’s education system.
