Punjab AAP MLA Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra released a new video alleging Delhi proxy rule in Punjab and blaming fellow MLAs for abandoning him. Ten days after AAP appointed a new in-charge for Sanaur, Pathanmajra said he is facing political isolation.
In his six-minute message, he claimed farmer unions, activists, and MLAs turned their backs on him during his crisis. He explained that his wife is seriously ill, while his children remain in hiding, fearing police action. He warned that the Punjab Government will be held responsible if anything happens to his wife.
Pathanmajra further accused Delhi leaders of interfering in Punjab and controlling the state through proxies. He also held officials responsible for mismanaging floods, saying he is being punished for speaking out.
The MLA has been on the run since early September after being named in a rape case. In his absence, AAP handed over Sanaur to Ranjodh Hadana, ending his role.
Pathanmajra continues to insist that he is being targeted for opposing Delhi’s influence in Punjab politics.
