Punjab railway negligence death has sparked outrage after a 25-year-old man died at Firozpur railway station due to delayed medical help. The victim, Suhail Angel, collapsed on the platform after his blood pressure dropped sharply. His family accused the Government Railway Police of ignoring repeated pleas for urgent treatment.

Suhail worked at AIIMS Bathinda and visited Firozpur every weekend. On Monday morning, he reached the station to catch a train when he suddenly felt dizzy and fell. He lay on the cold platform for nearly thirty minutes. Onlookers recorded videos, but no official arranged immediate medical aid.

Suhail’s father, Anthony, said his son was still breathing when he reached the platform. He alleged that railway security staff stopped him from moving Suhail to a hospital. The delay proved fatal.

After persistent requests, the family took Suhail on a scooter to a private hospital. Doctors declared him dead on arrival. Medical staff said timely treatment within fifteen minutes could have saved his life.

The family revealed that Suhail’s engagement had already taken place and his wedding was approaching. Relatives and locals expressed anger over the incident. They demanded strict action against negligent officials and accountability from railway authorities. The incident has raised serious questions about emergency response systems at busy railway stations in Punjab.
