Siddharth University, Kapilvastu Siddharthnagar, organized a quiz competition on the eve of Assam State Foundation Day on 1 December 2025. The event, chaired by Prof. Neeta Yadav, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, was conducted under the joint direction of Dr. Neeraj Singh from the BBA Department and Dr. Mayank Kushwaha from the Sociology Department.
The quiz aimed to enhance students’ understanding of Assam’s history, culture, traditions, literature, geography, and socio-political identity. A total of 67 students from various departments participated with enthusiasm, showcasing strong reasoning skills and prompt responses across all rounds.
Anushka Shukla of BBA 5th semester secured the first position, while Arshad Kamal and Himanshu Agrahari finished second. The third position was shared by Ashish Yadav, Imrana Khatun, Reshma, Sahafhad Ahmed, and Anchal Gupta.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kavita Shah congratulated all participants and emphasized the importance of such academic activities in boosting students’ knowledge and personality development.
