Congress leader Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of voter fraud in Bihar during his speech at the Voter Adhikar Yatra. He was joined by RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav in Araria district. Both leaders took part in a bike rally that drew thousands of supporters. People lined the streets to greet them with cheers and flags.
The yatra began on August 17 and will travel 1,300 km across 20 districts. It will conclude on September 1 with a massive rally in Patna. Speaking at the event, Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Modi government misused the Election Commission. He said voter lists were tampered with and many genuine names were removed.
According to Gandhi, the BJP and the Election Commission were working together. He declared that the INDIA alliance would fight strongly to stop voter fraud in Bihar. He also criticized privatization, saying it denied opportunities to youth and the poor.
Tejashwi Yadav accused the BJP of collecting ₹4,000 crore through certificates and using it for vote buying. He called for a clean and corruption-free government. Both leaders urged people to protect democracy and resist unfair practices.
