Rahul Gandhi’s 10 Percent Claim on Army and Jobs

Rahul Gandhi 10 percent claim during Bihar rally

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made a strong 10 percent claim during his Bihar rally. He said that only 10 percent of India’s population controls the Army, big companies, and top jobs. The remaining 90 percent, he added, are from Dalit, Mahadalit, backward, and tribal groups who get little representation.

Rahul Gandhi said, “Look at India’s 500 largest companies — none belong to backward or Dalit communities. All are from the top 10 percent.” He said this shows how wealth and power stay with a few, leaving most citizens behind.

The Rahul Gandhi 10 percent claim sparked debate across Bihar. Gandhi urged for an India that gives equal space to 90 percent of the population to live with dignity and happiness. He said the Congress party always stood for backward communities.
