Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy once again created a stir in Telangana politics. Speaking to the media at Gun Park before the Assembly session, he announced that he would not return to the House after the first day. He said his priority was to stand with people suffering due to floods in Kamareddy, rather than spending time inside the Assembly.
Rajagopal Reddy stressed that Amaraveerula Stupam is like a temple for him. He said his visit to the memorial was not for any special reason but to pay his respects. He added that people’s problems must be addressed first, especially at a time when floods have disrupted normal life in several regions.
His statements are drawing attention as he has been openly critical of his own government and party. Earlier, he accused the leadership of denying him a ministerial post and neglecting funds for Munugode. He also voiced support for farmers affected by the Regional Ring Road project, promising to stand by them.
While the Assembly is holding a special discussion on the Kaleshwaram project, Rajagopal Reddy declared that he would stay away. His absence and strong comments have triggered speculation about his next political strategy, adding uncertainty to Congress circles.
