Rajasthan AI-ML Policy 2026 Launched to Build Digital Ecosystem

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Tuesday launched the Rajasthan AI-ML Policy 2026 in Jaipur. He inaugurated the Rajasthan Regional AI Impact Conference 2026 at JECC. The event marked a major step toward building a strong digital ecosystem in the state.

The Chief Minister also launched the National AI Literacy Programme, iStart Learning Management System, Rajasthan AI Portal, and the AVGC-XR Portal. Sharma said technology, when used responsibly, shapes the future. He added that Rajasthan aims to become a centre for AI innovation, investment, and good governance.

The Rajasthan AI-ML Policy 2026 will strengthen e-governance and improve public service delivery. The policy promotes ethical, transparent, and secure use of artificial intelligence. It focuses on data protection, cyber security, and bias reduction in AI systems. The state will also set up an AI Centre of Excellence.

AI education will expand from schools to colleges, ITIs, and polytechnics. Each department will appoint an AI nodal officer to explore practical use cases. Special training programmes will support students, teachers, government staff, startups, MSMEs, and researchers.

The conference also showcased holographic technology for live MOU signings with Google, IIT Delhi, and NLU Jodhpur. These partnerships will boost AI research, skilling, and real-world applications in Rajasthan.
