Rajasthan Celebratory Firing Incident once again highlights the dangers of illegal gunfire during social events. A birthday celebration in Tajpura village of Dholpur district turned tragic when celebratory firing left a seven-year-old child and a woman seriously injured.

The incident occurred on Friday in the Nadanpur police station area. According to police, a family was celebrating a child’s birthday. Music played loudly as women, children, and youths danced together. During the celebration, a young man reportedly lost control in excitement and fired a gun into the air.

The bullet pierced the shoulder of a seven-year-old boy and struck a 30-year-old woman standing nearby. Panic gripped the gathering immediately after the firing. The accused fled the scene as family members rushed the injured to the Bari community health centre.

Due to their critical condition, doctors provided initial treatment and referred both victims to the district hospital. They are currently admitted to the surgical ward, where doctors continue to monitor them closely.

Station House Officer Krishna Kumar Meena confirmed that a case has been registered. Police teams are conducting raids at possible hideouts to arrest the accused. Authorities have reiterated that celebratory firing is a criminal offence and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Despite repeated warnings, such incidents continue to endanger innocent lives across Rajasthan.
