Rajasthan’s bullion market recorded another dip in gold and silver prices on Wednesday, bringing slight relief to buyers. After two days of stability, both metals fell by about ₹200 as global markets showed weakness and the dollar index strengthened. In Jaipur, 24-carat gold opened at ₹1,28,800 per 10 grams, while silver stood at ₹1,76,800 per kilo. Kota, Jodhpur, Ajmer and Udaipur also reported similar declines, signalling a state-wide downward trend.
Market experts said international cues continue to influence local prices, and year-end demand is adding to the volatility. They advised customers to remain cautious as further fluctuations are expected in the coming days. Compared to Tuesday’s rate of ₹1,29,000 per 10 grams, gold became cheaper on Wednesday, while silver also saw a minor correction. Traders believe the market will keep reacting to global metal trends and currency movements.
