The Rajasthan government transferred five IAS officers on December 24, while canceling one transfer. The personnel department issued the orders late Wednesday night.

Anandi, the outgoing Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) Commissioner, moved to the post of Registrar in the Cooperative Department. Siddharth Mahajan, returning from central deputation, assumed the role of JDA Commissioner. He had awaited posting since his return.

Rakesh Sharma, formerly JDA additional commissioner, now serves as Commissioner of the Information and Public Relations Department and as Joint Secretary of Governance. Manju Rajpal, previously Principal Secretary and Registrar of the Cooperative Department, will lead Agriculture and Horticulture, Panchayati (Agriculture) departments, and the State Seeds Corporation Limited.

Babulal Goyal, formerly Commissioner of the Devasthan Department, now works as Secretary at the State Human Rights Commission.

Meanwhile, the transfer of Dr. Om Prakash Bairwa has been canceled. He will no longer move from College Education Department to the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission.

This reshuffle strengthens leadership across key departments and ensures administrative continuity in the state. The changes bring experienced officers to crucial roles and improve governance efficiency.
