In the NDA Bihar seat distribution 2025, Rajput candidates have received more seats than the Koeri-Kushwaha community. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) announced its list for 243 Assembly seats. Rajputs got 37 seats, while the Kushwahas received 23. In the caste survey, Rajputs form 3.45% of Bihar’s population, and the Koeri-Kushwaha group forms 4.21%.
The alliance includes JDU, BJP, LJP (Ram Vilas), RLM, and HAM. Together, they gave 84 tickets to upper-caste candidates. Out of these, Rajputs secured the most seats. Bhumihars followed with 31, Brahmins got 14, and Kayasthas received 2. The NDA Bihar seat distribution 2025 shows that Rajputs continue to dominate upper-caste representation.
During the Lok Sabha elections, NDA faced losses in Shahabad and Magadh due to the feud between Upendra Kushwaha and Pawan Singh. To resolve tensions, Home Minister Amit Shah intervened, offering Kushwaha a Rajya Sabha and MLC position.
This new seat-sharing plan aims to balance caste representation but keeps Rajputs in a strong political position within Bihar’s NDA.
