Ram Nath Kovind inaugurates PITEX 2025 in Amritsar, marking a major moment for one of North India’s biggest trade events. The Punjab International Trade Expo enters its 19th edition, and the former President will open the event on 5 December 2025 at Ranjit Avenue. A delegation from the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) met Shri Kovind and invited him for the inauguration. The team included Vice President Sanjay Singhania, Punjab Chapter Chair Karan Gilhotra, and Deputy Secretary General Naveen Seth. PHDCCI expressed gratitude for his acceptance, and they called the moment a proud milestone for Punjab’s trade ecosystem.
PITEX-2025 will run from 4 to 8 December 2025. The expo brings together exhibitors, buyers, and investors from India and abroad. Every year, the event creates a powerful platform for global networking. Businesses showcase new products, explore investment opportunities, and build long-term partnerships.
Moreover, the Government of Punjab joins as the Host State, which strengthens the expo’s credibility and reach. Trade bodies and industry leaders expect high participation this year.
