The pair, known for blockbusters such as Ram-Leela, Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, 83, and their recent appearance in Singham Again, have built an undeniable cinematic chemistry that audiences eagerly look forward to experiencing again.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Ranveer reflected on what makes working with Deepika so special. “Acting with Deepika feels effortless. Our chemistry doesn’t need to be manufactured,” he said. He believes that the connection they share in real life naturally translates to the camera, adding, “There’s a genuine quality to it, something honest — and viewers immediately pick up on that.”
When asked if he had a favourite memory from filming together, Ranveer explained that it’s difficult to single one out. “We’ve shared countless meaningful moments on sets. It’s impossible to choose just one,” he said, noting that the duo still has “a lot more creative ground to explore.”
Upcoming Films for Ranveer and Deepika
Ranveer Singh is preparing for his upcoming film Durandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar of Uri: The Surgical Strike fame. The movie features a strong ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Akshaye Khanna. The project marks Ranveer’s comeback to theatres, raising anticipation among fans and industry watchers.
Deepika Padukone, meanwhile, is busy with King, one of the most-awaited releases of the coming year. The film brings together Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the star-studded cast also includes Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, Abhay Verma, and Jaideep Ahlawat. The high-energy action drama is expected to hit cinemas next year.
