Record-breaking darshans at Tirumala have continued over the past few weeks, with thousands of devotees visiting the temple every Friday. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) reported a sharp rise in pilgrim numbers despite reduced darshan hours due to the weekly Abhishekam ritual.
According to TTD, Fridays usually attract around 60,000 to 65,000 devotees. However, the recent figures crossed that mark by a huge margin. On May 23, about 74,374 devotees had darshan. The number stood at 71,721 on May 30 and 72,174 on June 6.
The highest turnout came on June 13, when 75,096 devotees visited the shrine. Officials said the growing spiritual interest among pilgrims has led to these record numbers.
The record-breaking darshans at Tirumala highlight the temple’s enduring appeal and the strong faith of devotees from across the country.
