The Jubilee Hills by-election has witnessed a massive wave of nominations, highlighting the intense political interest surrounding the seat. A total of 211 candidates have filed 321 nomination papers, making it one of the most crowded electoral contests in the state in recent times.
On the final day of filing alone, as many as 117 candidates submitted 194 sets of nominations. The filing process continued until 3 PM yesterday, as candidates rushed to beat the deadline.
