Senior BJP leader Rekha Gupta has described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a leader who combines strength with compassion, comparing him to both a strong father and a caring mother. Her remarks came during a public address where she praised Modi’s leadership style and his impact on Indian society.
Gupta said that the Prime Minister has shown resilience and firmness when dealing with national security, foreign policy, and governance challenges, acting as a protective figure for the country. At the same time, she highlighted his compassionate side, pointing to welfare schemes like Ujjwala, Ayushman Bharat, and Jan Dhan Yojana, which she said reflect a mother’s care for her children.
“PM Modi is a strong father one moment and a caring mother the next. He balances firmness with empathy, ensuring both security and welfare for every citizen,” Gupta remarked.
The BJP leader also credited Modi for steering India through difficult times, including the COVID-19 pandemic, economic hurdles, and global geopolitical shifts. She argued that his leadership blends vision and execution, enabling India to take bold steps while also protecting the vulnerable sections of society.
Her comments drew applause from party workers, who echoed the sentiment that Modi’s leadership has been both authoritative and empathetic. However, opposition leaders criticized the statement, saying it was part of a personality-driven campaign rather than a reflection of governance realities.
Gupta concluded by urging citizens to continue supporting Modi, asserting that his dual qualities of strength and compassion will ensure India’s rise as a global power.
