Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy accuses Kishan Reddy of delaying Hyderabad Metro funding and slowing down several major development projects in the state. Speaking at a public event, he said the Centre should immediately clear pending approvals for infrastructure works.
According to Revanth Reddy, Revanth Reddy accuses Kishan Reddy of delaying Hyderabad Metro funding despite repeated requests from the Telangana government. He claimed that projects such as Hyderabad Metro expansion, the Regional Ring Road, and the Musi River rejuvenation programme are waiting for central support.
The Chief Minister said he has visited New Delhi several times to seek approvals and financial assistance for these projects. He urged Union leaders to cooperate with the state for faster development.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders rejected the allegations and accused the state government of making politically motivated claims. The issue has sparked a fresh war of words between the Congress and BJP in Telangana.
