BRS MLA Kaushik Reddy leveled sensational allegations against Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over the recent Vice Presidential elections. Speaking to the media, Kaushik claimed that Revanth sold Congress MPs’ votes to the BJP, betraying INDIA bloc candidate Justice Sudarshan Reddy.
He alleged that of the 15 cross-votes , eight belonged to Telangana Congress MPs, who ended up supporting the NDA candidate . “ Three MPs themselves confirmed this to me,” Kaushik said . He further accused Revanth of striking a deal with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and selling votes to the BJP.
Calling it a clear act of betrayal, Kaushik said Revanth had “backstabbed” Sudarshan Reddy and weakened the INDIA bloc’s position in national politics. The allegation has added fuel to ongoing political tensions, with opposition leaders demanding accountability from the Congress leadership over the cross-voting episode.
