Sali pregnant in love affair with jija has shocked a village in Bihar after the girl’s newborn baby died just days after birth. The case came to light in West Champaran district, where the girl’s father filed an FIR against his son-in-law.
According to the complaint, the accused man is married to the girl’s elder sister. He often visited the family home and allegedly developed a relationship with his younger sister-in-law. Over time, the relationship led to pregnancy.
The girl gave birth on December 31. The baby’s health worsened soon after delivery. The newborn died four days later under unclear circumstances.
When the father learned about both the pregnancy and the baby’s death, he approached the police. He accused the son-in-law of exploiting his daughter and hiding the matter from the family.
Police registered a case and sent the infant’s body for post-mortem examination. Officers have started questioning family members and villagers to understand what happened.
After the incident, the accused reportedly fled from the village. Police teams are searching for him and say strict action will follow once the investigation is complete.
The case has caused anger and concern in the local community.
