Bollywood superstar Salman Khan said he has not built anyone’s career and denied claims that he ruined others’ professional lives. He made the statement during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19 on Sunday night.
Shehnaaz Gill appeared on the show to introduce her brother Shehbaz Badesha as a wild card contestant. While speaking to Salman, she said he had helped many people build their careers.
Salman quickly responded, “I haven’t built anyone’s career. The Almighty makes careers, not me. In fact, people even accuse me of ruining careers. But that’s not in my hands. These days, people say, ‘He will eat up your career.’ Which career have I eaten? If I ever do, it will only be my own.”
Shehnaaz, a former contestant of Bigg Boss 13, made her Bollywood debut alongside Salman in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023). The film was a remake of the Tamil hit Veeram and also starred Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh.
