During the meeting, Samrat Choudhary says ‘garland criminals’ instead of honoring them, sending a clear message that the government will not tolerate crime. He asked police to act quickly and firmly against criminals to improve law and order across the state.
The Chief Minister instructed officers to arrest suspects within 48 hours in serious crimes such as murder. He also asked them to complete important legal procedures within 12 to 13 days so that people can see quick action from the administration.
Choudhary also warned that crimes against young girls will face zero tolerance. He said anyone who harms children must face strict punishment.
His statement came after recent police encounters in Bihar, highlighting the government’s tougher approach toward criminals.
