The Sanjay Kumar Prabhat exam mafia case has entered a crucial stage as the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) strengthens its action. The Sanjay Kumar Prabhat exam mafia network is suspected of leaking competitive exam papers in several states. The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) has sought his remand and filed a request before a special court. Officers have also contacted police teams in Uttarakhand, Telangana, and Delhi for more information.
Investigators are extracting call details from the two mobile phones seized from Prabhat. His questioning is expected to reveal how the network operated, especially in major examinations like BPSC-TRE-3.
Sanjay, linked to the Sanjeev Mukhiya gang, was arrested on Tuesday and sent to jail. He is also connected to the Transport Department’s Enforcement Sub-Inspector exam scheduled for December 14. According to the EOU, he was wanted for the TRE-3 paper leak held on March 15, 2024.
Prabhat is the son of Ram Lakhan Prasad from Sheikhpur Sarai. His criminal record includes exam-related crimes in Telangana’s engineering, agriculture, and medical entrance tests, as well as the All India Pre-Medical Test 2016. Multiple agencies, including Hyderabad CID and Ramnagar police, are investigating his past activities.
