SBI ATM loaded on Scorpio shocked residents in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district after criminals uprooted an ATM and fled with it late at night.
The incident took place in Madwan area under Karja police station. According to police, several miscreants arrived in a Scorpio vehicle and used a gas cutter to break the ATM. They quickly removed the machine and escaped from the spot. CCTV cameras captured the moment when the criminals carried the ATM and loaded it into the vehicle. The SBI ATM loaded on Scorpio incident has raised concerns about ATM security in the area.
Police said the criminals also sprayed paint on the ATM camera to hide their identity. The machine reportedly contained around ₹1.5 lakh, but bank officials will confirm the exact amount.
Residents noticed the missing ATM in the morning and informed the police. Investigators are now examining CCTV footage and searching for the suspects involved in the theft.
