The State Bank of India (SBI) has launched the Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025-26, offering financial aid of up to Rs 20 lakh for students.
The scholarship covers school, undergraduate, postgraduate, medical, IIT, IIM, and overseas courses. Depending on the level of study, students can receive between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20 lakh.
SBI has introduced special provisions for SC/ST candidates. They will get a 10% relaxation in marks, while 50% of the seats are reserved for females and SC/ST students each.
To apply, school students’ family income should not exceed Rs 3,00,000 annually. For other students, the family income limit is Rs 6,00,000 per year.
The last date to register for the scholarship is November 15, 2025.
