The Bihar Election 2025 second phase will witness a fierce contest with 1,302 candidates competing for 122 assembly seats across 20 districts. The voting is scheduled for November 11, and counting will be held on November 14.
In this phase, 1,761 candidates had filed their nomination papers. Of these, 1,372 were accepted, and 389 were rejected during scrutiny. Later, 70 candidates withdrew their nominations. Key withdrawals include Congress leaders from Warsaliganj and Pranpur and a VIP candidate from Babubarhi.
The upcoming phase is crucial for all major political parties as it will shape Bihar’s political balance. Voters are expected to play a decisive role in determining which alliance gains the upper hand in the 2025 Assembly elections.
