A series of blasts in Jalandhar and Amritsar has triggered panic and forced security agencies to increase vigilance across Punjab. The explosions happened near sensitive security locations, raising serious concerns about safety and possible sabotage. Police and intelligence teams rushed to the sites and started an investigation.
The first incident took place near the Border Security Force (BSF) headquarters in Jalandhar on Tuesday evening. A scooter parked near the area suddenly caught fire and exploded, damaging nearby property and causing panic among residents. However, authorities reported no major casualties.
A few hours later, another blast occurred in the Khasa cantonment area in Amritsar. The explosion happened close to a sensitive military zone that houses Army and BSF installations. Security forces quickly sealed the area and began collecting forensic evidence.
Following the series of blasts in Jalandhar and Amritsar, Punjab police placed the state on high alert. Special investigation teams and central agencies are examining CCTV footage and other clues to identify those responsible.
