The Shaktipeeth Badi Patan Devi Corridor will soon take shape in Patna. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced the project while addressing BJP workers in the city. The Shaktipeeth Badi Patan Devi Corridor aims to boost religious tourism and improve facilities around the historic temple.
The announcement came during a BJP workers’ felicitation ceremony at KL Seven Venkat Hall in Raja Ghat. Similar events were held in Bankipur and Patna Sahib after the NDA’s historic victory in the Assembly elections. BJP state president Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, Samrat Chaudhary, and Vijay Kumar Sinha praised party workers and thanked them for their efforts.
Samrat Chaudhary also shared key decisions taken in the first cabinet meeting. The government decided to form “Police Didi” units to ensure the safety of girl students and women. These units will focus on school- and college-going girls.
He confirmed that MLA Ratnesh Kumar will be made the Assembly whip. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha announced plans to restart nine closed sugar mills and open 25 new ones. Gulzarbagh will be renamed, and 11 developed cities, including Sonpur and Sitamarhi, will be built. The government has also set a target of creating one crore jobs.
